Early Childhood Intervention Awareness Week The ECIA(VC) 21st Anniversary Celebration was held on Thursday, 18 August and the celebration included the launch of the ECIA(VC) Outcome Statement by Gill Callister, Executive Director, Office for Children, Department of Human Services. ECIA(VC) Activities ECIA(VC) has had a busy six months with activities including: ongoing liasion with Department of Human Services, involvement with the Jack Shonkoff visit in March and producing a resource to accompany the DVD - Gus, An Early Intervention Story. (pdf 120KB)
National Reform Agenda Summary A number of readers will have been involved in the statewide consultations regarding the Plan for Victoria's Children over the last 18 months. During this time, ECIA(VC) committee has also been involved in consultations with the Office for Children, Statewide Outcomes Branch. State Government Announcements ECIA(VC) is pleased to report recent State Government Announcements regarding budget and service initiatives. A commitment of $119.5 million for Disability Services over the next four years has been announced. ECIA(VC) Bulletin 9 May 2005
